How to Get Here
Flying In
If you are not lucky enough to own your own aircraft, your closest choices for airports are Midland-Odessa and El Paso. The distance to Marfa from both of these airports is 180-190 miles.
Directions from Marfa
DO NOT USE G.P.S. OR GOOGLE. THEY WILL GET YOU LOST
DO NOT bring an electric vehicle. Our power lines will not handle the extra load of charging..
[1] Take 67 South to Presidio. Right before Presidio you will see a sign that says Ruidosa. Make a right, that is Hwy 170. Go 37 miles to Ruidosa. Go through Ruidosa and on the end of town you will see a sign that says Chinati Hot Springs 7 miles up the gravel road. It will dead end to us. The gravel road is a bit rough, but high clearance or 4WD is not necessary.
[2] Via FM 2810 and Pinto Canyon Road. You must have a higher clearance vehicle with good tires. Do Not Take if it's raining or has rained in the past couple days due to washouts. You will drive straight down the road-do not make any turns until you see my signs. Follow the signs and you will dead end to us.
From the Big Bend National Park take 170 through Presidio. Upon leaving Presidio you will see a sign that says Ruidosa 37 miles. Make a left, that is Hwy NW 170. Take it all the way to Ruidosa. Go through Ruidosa and look for my sign.

FM 170 rises and falls, twists and turns along the Rio Grande. It's austere beauty can be captivating - but please take care! This part of Presidio County is open range, and it's not uncommon to crest a hill and find an unconcerned cow or burro in the road! Please plan on over an hour to reach Ruidosa, plus another half hour on Hot Springs Road, the gravel road that takes you the final 7 miles up from FM170 to the springs. DO NOT USE G.P.S. OR GOOGLE. THEY WILL GET YOU LOST.
