Before booking, please review the important policies below. At first glance, some of these policies might seem a bit strict. However, they are designed to ensure that all guests have an equal opportunity to relax and enjoy the springs. If you have any questions regarding these policies or require clarification, please contact us prior to booking. We will be unable to make any exceptions to these policies.
Day Use and Reservations
We do not offer day passes. No walk-ins are allowed. Reservations are absolutely necessary, even if you will be camping. Unfortunately, there is no day use of the springs, and we regret that we will have to turn guests away if they arrive without a paid reservation.
Deposits and Cancellations
The hot springs are a very desirable destination, and we want to make sure that as many guests can be accommodated as possible. Accordingly, we must ask that you strictly observe our cancellation policies. Guests who are not able to adhere to these timelines risk losing their deposits. Holiday/Spring Break All reservations made during holiday season (November 15-January 15) or spring break (March 1-31) require the full amount as a deposit and there are no refunds for cancellation Other times: A deposit is 50% will hold your booking. Cancellations made up until 7 days before your scheduled arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will forfeit their deposit. Cancellations within 72 hours of scheduled arrival will be charged for the entire booking.
Pets at the Springs
We welcome your pets, but require strict adherence to our rules. We ask that you use good judgment in deciding whether to bring your pet. Pets who bark continuously, are not used to being leashed, are prone to damage furniture, or tend to "mark" or defecate indoors are NOT welcome. Should your pet surprise us with bad behavior, you will be assessed a $100 cleaning and damage fee. All pets must be leashed at all times. Pets are strictly forbidden from entering hot tubs or the cold pool area, There is a $20 per pet surcharge.
Chinati Hot Springs is an excellent place for group retreats. Please be advised that groups who are booking the entire facility must pay 100% of the total due upon booking and must give a 90-day advance notice of cancellation. Cancellations within 90 days of the arrival date will not be issued a refund.
